Year 4 had a fascinating day at Arbeia yesterday. As usual, their behaviour was perfect and they learned such a lot.

We have been making Autumn Crowns this week. We used lots of maths to help us make them. Please ask your child to find out how we made them.
Well done to all our stars this week. We are so proud of all your achievements. 9-11-17
Well done to our Stars of of the Week 2-11-17, you make all your teachers so proud.
Well done to our stars of the week, we are proud of you all!
The children are welcome to come into school on Tuesday dressed in their Halloween 🎃 costumes.
Today the School Council have embarked on a mission to help a newly established trust to raise funds. We are supporting the Together Forever Trust. The trust has been set up in memory of Liam Curry and Chloe Rutherford. The aims of the trust are to help children achieve their dreams and reach their full potential in sport and performance. From tomorrow the School Council will be selling wristbands at a cost of £1.00. The bands will also be available from Mrs Hawkins in Y1 after school if any parents would like to pop in and purchase adult or child size wristbands too.
The children are committed to supporting this cause and are very enthusiastic about raising as much as we can to help the trust over the months ahead.
The children from the School Council are designing a poster to advertise the wristbands so watch out for it over the next few days.
Thank you for continued support.
Mrs Hawkins
Congratulations to our new school buddies 2017-2018
This year our buddies will be very busy organising playground games and termly inter house playground competitions. They will also be there as pupil support at play and lunch times ensuring that friendship is at the centre of our play. Well done buddies I’m looking forward to working with you this year. On Friday 5th May, Mavis the community liaison from Asda came into school to present the school council with a cheque for £200.
Thanks to everyone who collected the little green tokens from Asda.
The money will be used by the school council to buy new playground equipment.
Thanks again for all your support.
